About Me

I’m a partner at Decibel VC, where I focus on helping founders build the next-generation of cloud infra, security and AI companies from the earliest stage. This can really mean anything from doing last minute lunch runs for your team because you forgot to order food for an important customer meeting (true story!) all the way to trying to help you devise a plan to move an entire GTM operation from vibrant community to large scale enterprise sales.

I fell in love with infra IT & security during my time at VMware and have been investing in the space for over a decade. Some of the companies I was lucky to back over the years include Databricks, SumoLogic, Matillion, Expel, Contrast Security, InfluxData, runZero, Cube.dev, SpecterOps, Akuity and Sublime Security.

In my free time, I enjoy donating money to my NFL fantasy league, following both the Premier League and my hometown Football Club Bayern Munich and eating too much Sweetgreen (at least according to my partners at Decibel, I personally think it’s a totally reasonable amount).
